Activist Proposal
My goal is to promote recycling. There are many places on campus where you can recycle. The reason why most people don't recycle is because they don't want to take the time out of there busy lives or non busy lives to do it. My solution for my goal is to offer rewards on campus for those who recycle. Most college kids will be willing to do anything if there is something offered for them in return.

the recycling idea is a good one too. Honestly i do not recycle like i know i should, but when you got a reward or prize behind doing it then hell yeah ill recycle in a minute. great proposal. Strong point is the reward idea, weakness is the shortness of proposal, maybe more detail will help you cause. telling what we can get as a reward is a suggetions that i would make as well.
ReplyDeleteRecycling is key, and a reward is always a great initiative to do so. I like this idea alot. I myself can not come up off the top of my head where specific recycling spots are, so maybe in your project emphasize these spots for students, because honestly if I knew exactly where they were it would encourage me to recycle more. Also i'm sure you will, but I would list different places to volunteer where students can be apart of helping with the enviornmental cause.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about college kids doing anything if a reward is offered, I am exactly that way. While I do think that offering a prize will increase interest in your cause for the short term, I'm not sure it can be maintained long term. Maybe you could inform others about the benefits of recycling and how it will improve the future for other generations.
